Good dogs are made, not born!
Private, one-on-one training in your home, backyard, on your daily walking route or at your local park, built around your dog, your household, and habits you want to shape.
Four ways to work together
Six private classes in your home, backyard, on your daily walking route or at your local park, one hour each, with homework after every session.
Three weeks of day-to-day training in my home, then three follow-up classes to hand the work over to you.
Your dog joins the household, one boarding guest at a time.
A one-hour call on what is going on and what the next step should be, wherever you are.
Angus Mak
Angus has been working with dogs for 15+ years. It started when he got his first dog, a Belgian Tervuren, and jumped straight into the world of working dog training. He spent the next ten years training in Schutzhund (IGP), a working dog sport made up of tracking, obedience and protection, while honing his skills as a professional pet dog trainer helping families with their dogs.
Drawing on that working dog background, Angus has had a lot of success and specializes in helping dogs with reactivity on daily walks, whether towards other dogs, animals or anything on wheels. With dogs of all ages, he helps owners nurture the behaviours they want and correct the ones that are difficult to live with. He particularly enjoys working with puppies and their new owners, building the foundation early so a dog grows up well socialized and solid in temperament, rather than developing problems that have to be undone later.
Angus will give you and your dog the skills to communicate with each other, so your dog sees you as their leader and protector, and in return you get the best friend your family has always dreamed of.
Your dog joins the family
When you're away, your dog moves in, one guest at a time, with walks and routines kept. Boarding guests should be comfortable living with a dog and a cat.

For years our dog lost his mind at every skateboard and scooter. Now they roll right past on his walks and he doesn't give them a second glance.
